If I buy a new MacBook Pro at an Apple store, will someone in the store transfer my data and programs from my old MacBook Pro to the new one?

Hi,

You should get Time Machine backup from old MacBook Pro on external HDD then restore it on new MacBook Pro.

OK, good idea. I did back up on external HD. I'm not very tech savvy, but maybe, just maybe, I can do this.
