HomePod and HomePod mini home theater setup

Hello. Hopefully someone can help. I have the newest devices available. AppleTV 4K, HomePod2 and two HomePod mini's. I have my HomePod2 under my TV. I have my two HomePod mini's behind me. It seems only the two mini's work with my Xbox. I can't seem to get all of them to work at the same time. Is this possible to make into a home theater surround sound?

HDMI Splitter and HomePod Audio for Apple TV, Xbox, and Switch I have been trying to get all my devices to play audio through my HomePod. All three are connected to a HDMI splitter so that I only need to run one cable to the TV. The Apple TV works, of course, but the other two (Xbox and Switch) don't work. I am currently hooked up to my Samsungs eArc HDMI input and I have it activated in the TV's software, I also have it turned on in the Apple TV's software. Those two work perfect together (4K HDR (HDR+) and Atoms Audio. Do I need to run the Apple TV into the eARC HDMI input on the Samsung and then, using a splitter, run the gaming consoles into the other available HDMI input? If I do that will I be able to hear the gaming consoles on the HomePod? Thanks for any advice. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Apple TV and HomePods not working together as a stereo audio system I’m so tired of my Apple TV and HomePods not working together. One of the reasons I got the Apple TV and HomePod is cause I thought that it would work as a stereo audio system. It is so cumbersome does not work properly. It was working OK for a little while and all of a sudden everything changed and now everything is broken again. The home app seems to be very frustrating cumbersome.
