Pro Apps Bundle for Education - why does it take so long to send out the codes? (Updated from 2022)

This is soooo frustrating! I have been on hold with Apple Support now for an hour trying to simply get my software and licenses. I posted a long detailed response to the situation here and then their website locked up. As soon as I hit send, I knew I should have copied it in the buffer, just in case!


Anyway, bottom line is that a problem that Apple knows about in having to wait 1-3 days for Final Pro Bundle software and licenses after purchasing it is absolutely ridiculous in 2023 and even in 2018! It is now July 15, 2023, and was told by the Manager, Michelle, that she and no one else there can do anything but wait for 3 days! I told her about the message from January 17, 2022, where a specialist was able to get it done, but she didn't care. I told her that the online chat person this morning said he sent over an escalation note, but for me to call Senior Technical Support as they can do more, but she said there was still nothing she could do. I asked her for her name and employee ID, something most places provide, and she said she would not tell me! She did say she would document my order with everything. I let her know I would type up the situation online and reachout to the Senior VP for Customer Service to review this case, as this was the worst customer service of any company, let alone Apple!


It is 2023, nobody should have to wait 3 days for software to download! Also, the automated system said the Final Cut Pro Portion was sent out yesterday (e-mail), and the first representative mentioned it was sent out too, but then she couldn't find where it said that on the system and even if that was true, there was nothing they could do to resend or find that e-mail?


I hope someone from Apple is reading this and responds, because this is not the level of Customer Service that they advertise as being excellent in their stores, etc.


I have been an Apple customer since the very beginning with every version of the iPhone that came out and multiple MAC's, but this situation has me rethinking my loyalty to a customer that is not loyal back!
