CALLS FROM GLOBAL TEL LINK (AN INMATE SERVICE) IS HAVING ISSUES!

So super strange. I have incarcerated loved ones and have received calls for years on multiple brand of devices. All the sudden, the calls stop ‘ringing’ my phone (Currently an android/Apple 14). Do Not Disturb is not on, it’s not turned on on my smart watch either. All updates are current. No updates were installed that would initiate this happening.


What happens is this, I’m watching the phone... and sometimes a voicemail notification appears , Sometimes not, but there is no incoming call or missed call nor even a recent call in the call log. Then sometimes when we do get to talk it sounds like they are under water or the phone cuts in and out and we cant even make out what the inmate is trying to say and vice versa. I am at a loss. I have contacted the company, No response. Its not only happening to me, Its happening to other inmates’ family members. And its causing issues between us. The inmate thinkin we lying about not getting their call. Or were thinkin they lyin about not calling. Arguing over something that is neither persons fault. Its creating a very frustrating situation not to mention we are loosing money with each call that cuts in an out.


Can anyone please tell me who to contact? Global Tel Link people don’t care. I think we should start a law suit. Many people are unable to communicate with their loved ones and are paying for a crappy service. Not to mention its creating more trauma than whats already happened. Please help.

You also mentioned that you have reached out to your carrier for help but no help was received. We recommend that you continue to reach out to them for help.
