Troubleshoot the Face ID:

No I can't say for sure how it started but it seemed to coincident with updating the software to 16.5.1 (c) or the security patch. However after removing my face ID, passcode and setting up an additional face (both mine) starting essentially from zero it now seems to work.

I don't know guys but probably not a HW issue. Hopefully this might help somebody with similar problems.

Do you notice how the problem start?

Your phone has any damage or face id not working in system update?

If your phone is in warranty period,go to nearby apple authorized showroom.
