iCloud Storage

I just bought 50GB of iCloud Storage and it says I can’t backup because I don’t have enough storage, do I have to have 50GB of iPhone storage to use this 50GB of iCloud storage?

Open Settings and tap on your name at the top. How much storage does it say you have for iCloud?

No, I don't think you would need 50 GB of iPhone storage to use 50 GB in iCloud storage.

it says I’m using 4.5GB out of the 50GB that I’m paying for..
