Apple TV Library empty

I have had this problem with my AppleTV devices for literally YEARS now, and it has plagued me over several generations of different AppleTV devices (all of the 4K models) across different networks (home, work, and hotspot/cellular).


The Library tab in the Apple TV app simply loads forever and then sits empty with a blank page saying I have no purcahses. It does, however, show only a header on the left side for "Family" under which it has all the members of my iCloud family and show THEIR purchases. On family AppleTVs, they can see my name and pull up my purchases, but nothing ever loads on my devices.


My purchases load in the Library tab on my Macbook, my iPhone, my iPad, but for years will simply load nothing on my Apple TV 4K devices. Since I have troubleshooted it through different devices and OS versions and networks I can verify the issue must be either with my account (which has over 2000 purchased film titles) or with the AppleTV app itself. Or a mixture of the two.


I have submitted somewhere like 3 or 4 tickets in the past about this and have gotten an initial response followed by a "we are looking into this matter" with no fix ever happening. It's nice to see the AppleTV app updated with sports content, but can we fix the glaring issues that exist with it already? I see others posting about this same issue on this forum when searching for it, yet we cannot find a solution? Please Apple, help me out here.
