Your Apple ID is the account that you use to access all Apple services and make all of your devices work together seamlessly. ie: The Apple ID gives access to the App Store, iCloud, iMessage, Apple Music, Apple TV+ and more.

Wondering if "unable" means you want to renew but can't find how to,

If you need to change or update your Apple ID payment method - Apple Support

or

that you need to cancel your subscription as you no longer wish to pay for it :

maybe your subscription expired, as no payment was made, and you need to find out how to start it again.

If it has only been a short while, you could just: Add a payment method to your Apple ID - Apple Support
