Can’t verify payment information

I haven’t been able to download any app (even the free ones) on the app store since the new update because it fails to verify my payment information and brings me back to the same information page after verifying multiple times. Anyone with some advice

What kind of card, Apple Card MasterCard, Apple Gift card, credit or debit card? Are you trying to add funds to an Apple ID account? Verification is from the bank that issued the credit or debit card.
