iPhone 13 Pro Max not switching playback location to car radio automatically

This feature used to work fine until I bought a pair of AirPods Pro, after that my phone stopped automatically switching to my car stereo. My phone recognizes and connects to the stereo and plays music as soon as I start the car, I just have to manually switch the playback device to my car. I've tried resetting my network settings, disconnecting/reconnecting my phone from my car, and disconnecting/reconnecting my car from my phone, I even tried setting up a Shortcut to change the playback source, but all to no avail.
