i have been trying to get a SIM card on my phone but my phone has been reported lost or stolen so the SIM cards will not work on my phone but my phone isn’t lost or stolen so how do i remove the lost or stolen so i don’t have to waste my money on another phone.

Do you mean it was reported lost to your carrier or marked as lost in iCloud.com/find? If it's your carrier you will need to reach out to them for that. If it's marked as lost in iCloud follow this link to resolve the issue: Use Lost Mode in Find Devices on iCloud.com - Apple Support
