Static/ticking noise with incoming text messages

I have a new iphone 14 pro and when hooked up to Apple Carplay it makes a static/ticking noise when it would be reading the text message. Also, when using Waze and it would be reading directions, it also makes the same static/ticking noise. I have no issues with playing music or phone calls. No static/ticking noises during those times. I am using it wirelessly. Another thing....when I bought the car, I had an iphone 8 and everything worked perfectly fine. Now that I have a new phone, it has not worked since.

I've been reading a lot of the posts on similar issues. I have restarted, deleted, repaired with zero luck. Any suggestions on something I can try differently would be great!
