Recently my iPhone 13 automatically updated to iOS 16.5.1 c. Since then, I have been completely unable to connect to ANY WiFi network. I've reset my phone, I've played with the WiFi usage settings, and I've also reset my personal router. My computer uses this WiFi network with no problem. I live somewhere with very poor data, so my phone has basically become unusable. Is there any fix for this?
Delete the VPN app and profile on your phone.
Have you restarted your router? Turn it off for 15 seconds or so.
Similar issue with me. I can connect to the network, but then it doesn't actually work. Either I get a popup saying I my Wifi doesn't appear to be connected to the internet, (Though my other devices seem *mostly fine), or it just simply does nothing - no loading, no uploading, no downloading, things just don't happen.
I have also noticed that the Wifi my Mac and iPad also randomly get very slow much more often now, but the phone is much worse.
I don't use a VPN and have never set one up my phone.
Restarting it didn’t seem to help, but randomly changing some security setting back and forth until they were exactly the same as they were before fixed it somehow 🤷🏻♂️
