I cannot find Keynote folder in iCloud from my Mac, but the folder and the files are in iCloud.com. How can I bring it back in Mac?

You have to tell the Mac that is is sharing Keynote with iCloud or the Keynote folder will not appear on iCloud Drive. The penalty for doing this is that Keynote on the Mac will open to a File Chooser, and not a Template chooser as it would normally.

If you are on Ventura, you can configure this:

System settings : Click on your name with Apple ID beneath it. Click iCloud : iCloud Drive : Apps syncing to iCloud Drive :

Hello hjtsai,

We'd like to provide you with a few steps to ensure that you have Keynote set up properly in iCloud, on your Mac:

"Use iCloud Drive with Keynote on Mac

When iCloud Drive is turned on for your device, it stores your presentations and keeps them up to date on your computers, iOS devices, and iPadOS devices that are signed in with the same Apple ID. You always see the latest versions of your presentations, no matter where you made your last edits.

For seamless syncing of presentations, use iCloud Drive and devices that meet these minimum system requirements: macOS 11, iOS 14, or iPadOS 14. On iPhone or iPad, items stored in iCloud Drive appear in the presentation manager.

You can also use Keynote for iCloud to create and edit Keynote presentations using a supported web browser on a Mac or Windows computer.

Set up iCloud Drive on your Mac

  1. Choose Apple menu  > System Settings (or System Preferences), then do one of the following:
    • If you’re already signed in on your Mac with an Apple ID: Click Apple ID (to the right of your name). With macOS Catalina 10.15 or earlier, click iCloud.
    • If you’re not signed in with an Apple ID: Click Sign In, enter your Apple ID and password, then follow the instructions.
    • If you don’t have an Apple ID: Click Create Apple ID to get one, then sign in.

Important: If you forget your Apple ID or its password, you can recover it on the Apple ID website. Though you can have more than one Apple ID, it’s not recommended. Purchases made using one Apple ID can’t be merged with those made using another Apple ID.

2. Select the iCloud Drive checkbox.

With macOS Catalina 10.15 or later, if you don’t see the checkbox, click iCloud in the column on the left.

3. Click Options next to the iCloud Drive checkbox, then select the Keynote checkbox.

When iCloud Drive is turned off for Keynote on your Mac, new presentations you create or edits you make aren’t saved to iCloud. Similarly, new presentations you create or edits you make to presentations on your devices or on your other computers aren’t available in Keynote on your Mac."
