Fast track for learning FCP
What's the best way to come up to speed on FCP? if I have some Digital Audio experience, but little recent experience in Video editing.

Two great, free tutorials that are highly recommended around here:
Steve at Ripple Training, 60 minute FCP tutorial overview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqUP7Zgeuck
Izzy Video tutorials. Older so the UI looks different but the concepts are still correct. https://youtu.be/_jvyrnQpR1E?list=PLp5SAgbM8S87n1qvv34-PAU2zMHLlXyfb

I second those 2 tutorials but from memory I believe they both have a serious omission . . . at least for a beginner to editing.
They assume that your video clips are already on your computer whereas many newcomers want to know how to get their clips from their cameras into FCP.
I can remember 20 years ago spending ages working out how to get my camera video into Final Cut Express . . . it was very frustrating!
It's simple enough with FCP . . . when you insert a memory card the import window appears showing all the clips available. You select the ones you require and press the Import button at the bottom right.
