Feature Request iOS / iPadOS: status bar in eBooks app for PDFs & alarm for end-time of a calendar entry

Dear Apple / Community,

I´m looking for two features - maybe they already exist and I can´t find them.

If not, I´d like to ask Apple to perhaps include these in future releases.

1. In the eBooks app there is a setting to always show the status bar (showing the time, connectivity etc.) while reading. However I´m reading many PDFs in the eBook app on my iPad Pro and unfortunately the status bar is not visible when reading PDFs - it is only visible when reading ePubs or something similar.
2. I´m using the family calendar a lot to synchronize appointments, e. g. when one of the kids needs to go to his music lessons etc. It would be very helpful if the calendar app would offer the option to set an alarm also for the end-time of an event. This way I could get notified for example 15 minutes in advance to not forget that I have to pick up my little one again. Of course I could create a second calendar entry for picking the kids up and set an alarm there, but honestly that´d be a workaround unworth for Apple which in any other way is known for its great usability features.
