There's a crack on edge of my MacBook Air M1's Hinge. There was nothing hard in there that could create an obstruction to close Mac. What is to be done now? I don't have apple care+. Is it fine to use Mac in this condition? Will this increase and affect the screen? What is cost of getting this repaired in India?

I think it's getting worse and worse if you don't repair. You'd better contact Apple Support or take your MacBook Air to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro there.
I'm not sure about cost, you should ask about it when contact Apple Support or visit Genius Bar or AASP.

That's not the hinge. It's a simple plastic piece that's essentially cosmetic in purpose. They are delicate, but replaceable.
What is to be done if hinge is cracked?
