HomePod Doesn't Recognize My Voice for Some Home Commands

New issue recently arose. Since the feature was introduced, I have been able to tell my HomePods, through Siri, to perform certain Home app commands at a specific time. For example, "Turn on the living room lights at 5:00pm" or "Turn off the pool filter in an hour. Recently, when I ask for these types of commands, the HomePods claim they do not recognize my voice.

Please note:

  1. The HomePods work fine with the Home app for immediate commands. For example, "Turn on all the backyard lights" or "Turn on the living room air conditioner".
  2. All of the desired commands do work as expected if I use Siri through my phone, rather than the HomePods.
  3. The HomePods do recognize my voice when I ask who I am or ask for other personal commands such as "Read my last message". So, they know it's me, but there is a disconnect with the Home app.
  4. This happens with all three of the HomePods I own.

Could this possibly have something to do with with the most recent security update? The HomePods are all running 16.5, but my devices are running 16.5.1 (c)
