Hello ~ Try your restart this way…it’s a prior post by *Axel Foley*


Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

Let's start with: Is this phone in Lockdown Mode? You would know, because you would have had to enable it. Chances are it is not ... so that leaves, at least, two possibilities:


  1. Your phone is Activation Locked, or
  2. The phone's display is damaged somehow.


Can you provide us with the details that led up to this issue?
