I had the ssd card removed from my mid2013 mac book but Im trying to find a device that can read the ssd card on my PC. What do I need to buy? Thanks!

This is a less expensive alternative to OWC:
You can contact them to double verify that it is compatible.
Assuming that you can find a suitable external enclosure for the drive, the next issue you are going to face is the filesystem. The filesystem on the SSD will almost certainly be HFS+ or APFS – not NTFS, exFAT, or FAT32.
macOS can read NTFS volumes, but Windows can't even read HFS+ and APFS ones without aid from third-party utilities such as MacDrive.

The upgrade kits comes with an enclosure. No idea if they are sold separately.
Yes. The enclosure is sold separately, but not cheap for what it is.

Windowss PCs can not read Mac formatted drives.
How much are they? OWC makes pretty good stuff and after all quality costs money.
In Australia the enclosure alone is A$154.99.
At that price, I'd just buy a portable SSD and forget the enclosure until a lesser costly one could be found. Quality is good, but there are limits.
