yahoo/att email stopped working on iPhone 6 (12.5.7)
My @sbcglobal.net email stopped working on my iPhone 6 a few weeks back. It works fine on my Mac and Windows laptops, so I know my username/password are correct. I deleted the account on the Mail app and tried to recreate it, no go. Also tried using yahoo.com on Safari, no go. When I try to create the account on the Mail app it asks for my user ID, I enter that, then it detects that it's an ATT email so it sends me to signin.att.com and asks for my user ID. I enter that and then hit the "Continue" button, but it doesn't do anything, there is no way to get past this query to the next step. Any app that goes to this signin.att.com query also dies (e.g. Outlook).
Similar issue happened last summer, but I was able to get past the user ID query and enter my password, and then entered my password and it then would invariably throw up a "Something went wrong . . ." dialog.
Anybody else see this issue recently?
