Ventura Breaks Messaging, Email and Calendaring

Since upgrading to Ventura in June, I have had nothing but issues with my Mac. It's really impeding my worklife.

It duplicates, triplicates, quadruples my Calendar events. It mysteriously is now asking for my password on my Macbook Pro (2019) for messaging. Messaging has been logged in and in various states of being opened and closed forever. Not anymore. Somehow it's randomly forwarded some of my work email, the worst emails to forward. This happens daily. This software is unuseable. Mac -- you need a new Steve Jobs. This is not impressive. This is embarrassing, for me and for you. For me because what it's done to my worklife (read above), and for you, because I've come to expect so much more from you. I have had to back out my exchange account from mail and from calendar because it's screwed up so much. What was once a gift to be able to coordinate my personal and work responsibilities has become a nightmare. Rando changes with the latest iOS as well. What a debacle. I think my next laptop will be a lenovo thinkpad.

If anyone knows how to resolve the issue of the horrific communication between multiple devices since Ventura and the latest iOS, I am all ears. Because if there is no solution, I am done. What's the point of having a mini-super computer if it ruins your daily work life -- it's main purpose.

It's certainly not embarrassing for me as neither I nor any of the users in this forum have anything to do with it.

It's not entirely clear what's going on. You talk about multiple devices. What devices other than your Mac?

Are you using the native Mac Mail and Calendar applications? They have a long history of not playing well with Exchange accounts. I would recommend you download Outlook and use that for your work email and calendar on your Mac. It will prevent your personal and work emails from being mixed, causing you embarrassment.

On your iPhone, assuming that's what you have, you can add your exchange account directly in Settings>Mail>Accounts and use or not use Outlook. I've generally had no problems with that.

For messages, log out and log back in. Or, just log back in. Every once in a great while, I've had devices just log themselves out of iMessage for no particular reason. I just log back in and the problem goes away for several more years.

My Macbook Pro is a better computer for programming than the windows laptops my workplace offers. Didn't realize, and that is not just you, that this was just community people. I will contact Apple because I have to. Things have gone awry. As a programmer, I don't find the consumer oriented updates to be helping my productivity. That's what I was saying in the original message. I don't want to pick a fight with the true believers. I understand the allure. I just want my Mac and iPhone to not have its settings tweaked and wonked behind the scenes for the sake of an update. Too many complaints from me for just this thread. I'm out.
