No spelling mode

Spelling mode (Voice control) is not working. Although I have the latest version (and the latest update), spelling mode is simply not there. Command mode and dictation mode work fine. Can anyone help?

I had this problem as well. It turned out that spelling mode is only available when the voice control language is United States English, and doesn't work for United Kingdom English. (For completeness in case it makes a difference: I'm using a 2020 macbook pro on Sonoma 14.)

Hello colmack2

After reviewing your post, it seems like Voice Control is not available. Take a look in this location and tell us if you see Voice Control here.

  1. "Choose Apple menu  > System Settings (or System Preferences).
  2. Click Accessibility.
  3. In Accessibility settings"
