Syncing photos (plz help)⚠️

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are trying to get back photos on your iPad. Since this is related to iCloud, please make sure iCloud Photos is enabled as described here: Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support

Also, if you go to the iCloud website and log in with your Apple ID, do you see your photos there: View your photos and videos on iCloud.com - Apple Support

If these steps don't help, please provide more details about your situation so we can look at possible next steps.

Has this sad statement:

"If you delete a photo or video stored in iCloud Photos, it’s deleted

from all your devices. Photos and videos you delete are moved to a

Recently Deleted folder in Photos on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and

Mac, and on iCloud.com. Recently deleted photos and videos can be

recovered for 30 days. If you permanently delete a file from the

Recently Deleted folder, you can’t recover those photos or videos."

So unless they are in a recently deleted folder, they are gone for good. iCloud Photos is *not* for archiving, it is for *syncing*.
