I don’t seem to be able to upload form of payment on my iCloud,I registered my phone in USA but now am in Botswana

am failing to update anything on my phone because of form of payment


I bought and registered this phone in Detroit Michigan and now it doesn’t give me any provision to change it here in my country Botswana,kindly guide me

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16

About Changing the Location:

A. Zero-Out the Balance:

Having Relocated, you need to zero-out the balance. Note that if you are just visiting, you should let things be, and not change your location. When you change the location, all purchased items are lost, and you must purchase them all overlain. This all has to do with licensing between Apple and the Developer.


B. How to Zero-Out the Balance:

Purchase something that is more than what is in your account. Or, contact an Apple Rep over-the-phone, requesting assistance, asking that they zero-out the balance, then change your location to where it should be..

Apple Support Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there as necessary
  • Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
