Thanks for the clarification, sorry we misunderstood.


No, you do not need any power converters, as all Apple devices use a range, and your charger only brings what it needs. Make sure you understand the local wiring though, as this is mentioned in the article you came from:


"The country or region that you're visiting might state that its electrical power is within the supported range for the device you're using, but make sure that the quality of the electrical power is up to specifications. Electrical spikes and brown-outs can damage electrical equipment."

"If you use a third-party power adapter, it should meet these recommended specifications:

  • Frequency: 50 to 60 Hz, single phase
  • Line Voltage: 100 to 240 VAC"


As long as the power is rated 100 volts to 240 volts AC, your chargers will work. You only need the plug adaptor to make it fit safely in the outlet.
