Final cut can't export from NAS

I have Qnap TR004 expansion bay and it used to be as huge external drive connected straight to mac. Format Mac OS extended. Now I have Qnap TS-464 Nas and I thought that I can plug it in straight and keep working.

But..

Projects can be edited, but export don't work. Also copying projects works only sometimes. When I plug TR004 to NAS, it changes format to SMB. I thought that this is the issue, but if I made new library to NAS and export it, it works fine. So this (SMB format) is issue only with the old libraries.

Done: Consolidate media > didn't work.

When I try to change storage settings, this comes up: The operation couldn’t be completed. Is a directory and... and that's all. This is only thing in FCPX that says something ain't right.

Is there anything that I can do? I'm not interested of copying libraries from mac/TR004 to Nas (40T of old files)

Thanks in advance

Thanks Luis, Final Cut has full disk permissions, also on in disk I have Read&Write. When I try to export nothing happens. Not even error message.

NVRAM resetting didn't help.

Error message comes if I try to Change storage settings. Screenshot of an error above. Setting in storage location are, but I have tried everything, and this is only which gives me an error!

First, whenever the application appears to behave incorrectly, try deleting its preferences.

To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting FCP X and click Delete Preferences. The application will start in a default state, and open an "Untitled" library. Reopen the library you were working on, set the preferences the way you like them, and try again.

With any luck, this may well fix everything.

If not: is "Videot ulk.2" the name of the drive? Can you instead make a folder at the top level of the drive, and choose that?

Please tell us step by step what you are doing when trying to change the storage locations, so we can understand exactly what the cause of that error is.

Are you able to click the pop-up menu for Media, select "Choose..."

and then what?

Do you get to select some location, and then click the "Choose" button:

and then it errors out? What exactly did you select? If you just selected the NAS on the sidebar, that is where I was suggesting that you make a folder: click the New Folder button at the bottom, choose a meaningful name, and then click "Choose". Does that work?

Storage location> Modify settings

Media is on current (video ulk. 2) drive.

In media dropdown menu > Choose> (video Ulk. 2)

Error comes out when I hit OK

I didn't change media location, so it's showing same location off i scroll mouse over. If I try to change location and hit OK, same error comes.

Every time if I hit OK, error comes. I doesn't matter have I done any changes. Only thing I can do is cancel

Video ulk2 is Nas drive.

I can make a folder, when I hit OK same warning again.

I also tried Consolidate Library media to that new folder, but didn't work either, project files were able to move new folder but export still didn't work. Weirdest is that I can edit project normally. Today I could export throw compressor, but now I can't do even that.
