Outlook compatability with Apple Watch Series 2

For some time now, I have not been able to use the Outlook app on my Apple Watch (which I could previously). I can't see it on the Watch app in the list of possible apps, and although I can see it in the App Store on my watch, I am unable to successfully download it straight to the watch.

I love the Outlook complications, and my work calendar is not compatible with the native Apple Calendar app unfortunately.

Any way of resolving this?

You should first load the Outlook app to your iPhone. Then open the Watch app (My Watch) on your iPhone and scroll to the bottom of the list. Look for the entries "Installed on Apple Watch" and "Available Apps" and if Outlook shows as available, tap the Install button.

If that doesn't work you could try checking for software updates on both devices, but your Apple Watch is now 6+ years old does not support the latest versions so it might struggle with some of the latest apps. The current software for Apple Watch is WatchOS v9, which needs Apple Watch Series 4 or later.

Outlook has remained on my phone for the duration of the issue period.

In the Watch app, Outlook is not available anywhere in the list of apps for my watch - neither in the "Installed on Apple Watch" or in the "Available Apps".

All devices confirm that they are up to date with no software updates.

I suspect that Outlook functionality has been quietly removed from the 'old' version of WatchOS that my watch is stuck with...?
