Hey there Ian,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.

For details on why you may be seeing that a song is no longer available in your region, check out this link here: If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library - Apple Support

If a song is grayed out
If you see No Longer Available next to a song that's grayed out, the song was added from Apple Music and was removed from the Apple Music catalog.

Learn what the different cloud icons and symbols next to your songs mean in iTunes

If this is a song that you had in your Apple Music library, you may still be able to purchase and download the song from the iTunes Store with the steps in this next link here: Buy music from the iTunes Store on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

We hope that's able to help.

Take care!
