apple maps is not adding 'work' contact details to favourites

since the latest update I have been unable to add or use my 'work' contact info on apple maps. The contact card is fully uptodate, I have tried adding it through favourites. I have deleted the contact and started again. Nothing allows it to use the saved work contact detail and the brown work icon have my location - the work icon stays as a blue suitcase only. I can physically add my work location as a favourite but the actual 'work' saved contact details will not load on to it at all despite all info I have read from previous issues people have had and trying using favourites to add it etc.
