Can I use an Ecobank virtual card as my Apple ID payment method?
Can I use an Ecobank virtual card as a payment method? It keeps telling me 'payment method could not be updated, contact apple support.'

Without actually having one myself I can't tell you if you can or cannot. Try adding it and see for yourself if it is accepted.

On an iPhone or iPad (note that the details may vary slightly depending upon which iOS version you are running) :
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Media & Purchases (or Payment & Shipping). You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
4. Tap Manage Payments. Depending upon the iOS version you use you might not see this step.
5. Tap Add Payment Method. Enter the new payment method, then tap Done.

Unexpired subscriptions and Family Sharing organizers must always have a payment method present. To edit the cards used for those you may need to first add the new card and move it to the top payment method position before removing the old card (see: If you need to change or update your Apple ID payment method - Apple Support ).
