If you have delete mail from you mail folders, don’t forget to also delete the messages from the associated Trash/Bin mailbox folder(s).
Deleting mail from your mailbox folders only moves the messages to Trash/Bin - where they continue to occupy space until they are manually or automatically deleted.

I need to delete all old emails in my apple account. My mailbox is full and I am not buying more cloud space. I've cleaned up the email folders on my ipad, but says its till full.
