Why is the temperature on the Weather Channel app always different than the Apple App?

Right now there the Apple App says it’s 6 degrees hotter than the Weather Channel App. There’s been a large difference for a couple of hours, so the Apple App should have had plenty of time to update. I’ve noticed significant differences for the last several weeks.
