If this is a 2017, 2nd gen iPad Pro, this iPad is nearly 6 years old.
If you uae this iPad daily and heavily, it is possible the batteries may be failing/dyiing.
You can try and attempt to make an appointment with your nearest, “local” Apple Store location, using the support link in the far upper right hand corner of the Apple Website, to schedule a battery replacement appointment date.
Be advised, most Apple Store locations DO NOT do an actual battery replacement, in iPads, but ONLY do in/out of warranty device replacement, in lieu of an actual physical battery replacement.
Cost for an iPad battery replacement is $99 U.S.D., plus tax.
Also, be advised, a 2017, 2nd gen iPad Pro is nearly 6 years old.
Apple may not be able to, simply, just replace that old an iPad for a battery replacement, due to its age, as Apple Stores may not have replacement iPad Pro that old to give you, as replacement device, for said battery replacement service.
In that event, I am not sure if Apple Stores have in-house electrical technicians, or not, qualified to do an actual physical iPad battery replacement service, or not.
You may end up searching the Web for an actual qualified third party Apple mobile device repair service center that can actually do real repairs and battery repkacements on iPad ( many third party repair service centers can service iPhones , but NOT iPads ), so you may have to contact potential repair centers to inquire whether they have the expertise to do real repairs and battery replacements on various iPad models.
Sorry & Best of Luck to You!

Battery replacement - if required - can be arranged via the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP):
Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple
This avenue provides opportunity to have your iPad properly tested before committing to the cost of a battery replacement.
Alternatively, consider contacting Apple Support - and request a remote diagnostic test. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page. Alternatively and perhaps easier, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

Otherwise, you can use Apple’s mail-in repair service - for which you can find details and costs here:
