Mac Ventura "add back Ethernet in Networks after deletion"

Please advise (latest Community suggestions did not work).

How do I get Ethernet back in Network after foolishly deleting it?

Deleted Ethernet from Network per 3rd party vendor's suggested method to solve a problem (It didn't work!) When I tried to add Ethernet back in the network window, Ethernet is not an option:

I followed several Apple Community and other online recommendations about how to get it back, but after restart, have AX88179A instead of Ethernet. Discovered it's a protocol for connecting USB to Ethernet.

MacBook Air, macOS 13.4

Did you try plugging into Ethernet to establish the link

Connect your Mac to the internet using Ethernet

Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter

built in Ethernet you have to go back to the last retina 2012 MBP—and you would not be running Ventura
