Hello Guys,

I'm trying to find out the numbers of dates from 6/20/23 - 7/17/23, with =DATEIF formula, and it works, I think,. The problem is the I have to manually adjust the rows, if I add another row to the same column! is there a way to auto-populate or calculate the date duration automatically?

So column G has so many dates, and I will continue to add more dates, so basically the start date is 6/20/23, but they won't be an end date since this column will have more dates and all I need is to have the time duration or many how many days has passed since 6/20/23, until I add another cell with a new date?

DATEDIF(G2,G19,"D") & "d"

based on the same question how to add a letter y for years and letter d for days, i just wanted to add letters to the calculation results, but how to do it?

This is the formula that i'm trying to do but is not working

I want to do something like this this, 3y 2m, all I'm trying to do is adding a letter

DATEDIF(F$25,"Y") & "y",DATEDIF(F$25,"D") & "D"

this is the original formula results to calculate the dates range.

IF(AND(E2≠"",G2≠""),YEARFRAC(E2,G2,1),"–")

so the results is 3.2 but I want the letters"y" and "m" next to the 3.2

If you would like to lock the G2 so it is always referring to row 2, use a $ as in G$2
