I searched on the internet that I can delete dmg files after installation and it won't affect the app but some apps just don't work after I deleted. Why?

After the app is in your Applications folder you no longer need the .dmg
Trash it.
Install and uninstall apps from the internet or a disc on Mac
Why after when I delete my dmg files some apps don't work anymore?
