Read the support article Transfer data from your previous iOS or iPadOS device to your new iPhone or iPad - Apple Support to learn how to transfer data from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Select one of the three options: Quickstart, iCloud, or iTunes/Finder.

Transferring Contacts Between iPhones:


A. Use Quick Start:

Quick Start is what you need to perform. Use Quick Start to Transfer Data to a New iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


Another option...

B. Enable iCloud Contacts on Both iPhones:

Once Contacts is enabled in iCloud Settings, it should be accessible between the devices...

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: your name (top item)
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: Contacts (so that it is green)
