Maps running super slow lately

My device: iPhone 10R, iOS 16.5.1 (c)

All of the sudden about a week ago, Maps started to run super slow, and satellite images now take up to a minute to load properly, whether Google Earth is nearly instant.

For example, in FindMy, finding my AirTag on the map, it’s stuck in the grey grid for at least 30 seconds, before starting to load some of the imagery.

Does anyone have any idea?

Maps not loading So recently I’ve noticed on my iPhone 13 that maps isn’t loading as quickly as it used to. Before it would load immediately. Now it just shows the gray grid, and when I zoom in it still shows it, and take about a minute to load. So just wondering if anyone knows why that is?

after ios 26 maps doesnt work I have tried restarting my phone and pro max 13 and still maps doesn’t work. It’s like my phone doesn’t know where it is. It’s updated to the newest ios26 and after that it’s never worked right. I’ve tried Google Maps as well and still doesn’t work. It’s very annoying because the screen will just freeze. Any tips would be great.

Apple Maps and Google Maps lagging on my iPhone 13 Pro after latest iOS update I am facing trouble with both apple maps and google maps after recent ios updates i believe. My maps stops working in between when even a small signal is lost. It lags such that even after coming back to excellent network area it doesnt work and do not come to the exact location. Help!!
