I received my first Apple Watch as a gift. Is it okay that I store it and not wear it for a couple of months? My wife wants me to wear it when it's my actual birthday. She got it early because there was a sale. I can only imagine it being perfectly fine.

Well I had a similar situation . I purchased an Apple Watch Series 7 which was stored sealed pack since December 2021 . And purchased in august 2023 . . It just took 30 minutes to recharge again . That’s it . No problems faced since .
