I tried to edit a clip in Final Cut, but there is no sound. Prior to updating there wasn't an issue. Is this because of the update or is there something wrong that I am not seeing? Please, any help would be appreciated.

To explain a little: when adding a clip to the timeline, there is an option to add audio & video, just video, or just audio.The shortcuts are Shift-1, Shift-2 and Shift-3. There is also a button above the timeline to select lne of the three choices, and they are also present in the Edit menu.
I am guessing that you may have accidentally pressed Shift-2, and that is how you got into this situation. Hence Shift-1 will solve it.
Note: this does not magically add audio to clips already in the timeline. You can add them again, or you can reveal jn browser and drag over the clip in the timeline and choose Replace.

That is easy to fix. Just press Shift-1.

There is no sound in my file when put inside of the timeline, however I can go to my media section and play the clip and hear sound. This happened after I updated, please help.
