New Ipod Classic (7th gen) Syncing Help Needed

Brand new ipod classic 7th gen - synced with MacOS version 12. Worked like a charm in my car plugged in via usb. THEN, my car erased all music one day. When I went back to my desktop to reload music - the device shows "no music" (software still all there) when I plug it into my desktop - it does show in Finder (twice) one device/location just spins on "loading" the other device/location showing has files (contacts, photos (photos still all there), notes, etc.) BUT no music and I can't figure out how to load music now in finder. I am now running MacOS 13 Ventura on my desktop. Any help would be appreciated!

iPod Classic and Catalina I have a perfectly good iPod Classic that I had not used in some time because I have an iPhone and played my music from it. Today I was working again in my shop where I have always used my iPod Classic to play music through an amplifier. I had not updated the music on the device for some time so I decided to do that. I recently updated my MacBook Pro to Catalina. I have sync'ed my iPhone successfully using the new Finder scheme. Unfortunately, that is not working for my iPod. I did as others have suggested and "Restored" my iPod to factory settings. That seemed to work. However, nothing I do can seem to cause a sync to the iPod. There are no entries in the list for music at all in the Finder pane but I assumed that would be filled in as the Sync progressed. I selected Apply and then Sync. Initially, the iPod shows the sync rotating arrows but then quickly (10 seconds) stops. It appears that it cannot locate any music. After enduring this behavior for some time, I again went through the Restore process. Same result. What is going on? Has anyone got any answers?

Can I sync my iPod Classic? Is it possible to continue to synch music on my iPod Classic after upgrading the software on my MacBook Pro? When I connect the iPod, it shows up on the desktop but not in Music and there is no synching.

Sync iPod nano with iPad Pro I recently ditched my old iMac for an iPad Pro. Everything works great, except that when I connect my iPod nano to sync/update with new music to play in the car, but I’m unable to see it. I can see the device connected in files but content shows blank and the iTunes Store app doesn’t seem to know it. Any advice on how I can sync up new purchases? Thanks
