Problem with receiving Viber media

I have problem with receiving pictures, videos and voice messages via Viber on my iPhone 14.


Most of pics and videos couldn’t be opened and on voice messages play button never shows. In WhatsApp everything works perfect.


Did anyone had this kind of problem too?

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. For Viber, we recommend to ensure that you're allow Viber to access your photos. This may help you to access the photos within the app. To perform this step, please go to Settings > Privacy & Security. If Viber is listed, please tap on Viber and select either "All Photos" or "Selected Photos." This is a personal preference for you to choose if it's available.


Now if that doesn't help, the next step would be to follow these steps to troubleshoot Viber:


1. Close and reopen the app
Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.
 
2. Restart your device
Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.
 
3. Check for updates
To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.
 
4. Delete the app, then redownload it
Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.
