I cannot update my iPad Pro 11 inch on my home network. I can, however, update it with no problem at my office net work. What’s wrong?

My iPad Pro, 11 inch works fine at my office. However, when I try to update the software at my home, it will not even allow me download the update. Is this a problem with my iPad or do you think it is a problem with my home network. My iPhone 13 Pro does all the updates both at my home and at my office with no problem whatsoever. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Hey randy52,

If you're able to update on a different network, it is likely an issue between your home network and this specific iPad.

The first thing we'd recommend is to restart both your iPad and your home network. Leave it off for a few seconds then turn the modem/router back on and your iPad afterwards.

If the issue persists, then follow the steps here for trouble connecting to a network:

Take particular note of step 7:

"Reset your network settings

If you're using iOS or iPadOS 15 or later, tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

If you're using iOS or iPadOS 14 or earlier, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before."

Feel free to reply to this post if the issue persists.

Cheers!
