mls pass surround sound cuts in and out.

Hi. I have a nice stable set up and only issues on MLS pass with my surround bar.

LG C2 and Samsung q990c setup. eARC connection. 1.2g Wi-Fi connection. No loss of speed or jitter on 6E nighthawk.

Apple TV app works well for all movies and streaming service no drop of surround. Q990c spreads the 5.1 data nicely. However, thought it is important for you to know that the sound cuts in and out on surround speakers during MLS pass games. It was bad enough I had to turn down all rear speaker fields to watch Messi’s first game. No reset or power cycle is helpful.

Please check with MLS streaming sound stage, I think the codex is dropping out data at some points. fairly certain it’s not on my end. I did mess with different settings for voice etc and was not helpful. Even in “standard mode” it’s not solved.

Although this happens only with MLS, we'd recommend trying the steps from If you can't watch or stream movies and TV shows in the Apple TV app - Apple Support as that can help with most Apple TV issues. The following section may be particularly helpful.

"If the video quality is bad or it stops playing

If multiple people on your network are using the internet, your connection speed might slow down. Ask them to temporarily pause their internet activities.
If you're using a smart TV or streaming device, turn it off and back on again. If you're using an Apple device, restart it.
Tap or click the download button to try downloading the movie or TV show instead."
