Hi,

If your MacBook Pro has Intel processor, resetting NVRAM could solve audio related issues.

If it doesn't help, start up in Safe mode, then normal boot could solve the issue.

It is always a good idea to provide the exact model of the Mac when asking for assistance on the forums. You can get this information by clicking the Apple menu and selecting "About This Mac".

With older Macs, it was common for the headphone jack to break (I believe this only occurred on the non-Retina models).

Try running the Apple Diagnostics to see if any hardware issues are detected.

Try disconnecting all other external devices in case one of them is causing a problem.

If you connect headphones or external speakers, do you have audio?
