Quicktime can't open file

I have some iMovie videos that I made around 2007. Now, when I try to play them I get "Quicktime can't open 'Tape 1.mov' ". I have Quicktime Player 10.5 and OS 10.14.6.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.14

QuickTime won't open on my MP4 files Downloading mp4 from youtube I was always able to open them with quicktime player. Now it opens a window in which it is written that the file includes some content non compatible with quicktime player and there is no possibility to open them. If I continue I can get only the music and not the video. I have quicktime 10.5 version and MAC OS Sequoia 15.1.1 [Re-Titled by Moderator]
