Wrong date and time shown on Modular watch faces and apps on watch series 7 watchOS 9.5.2(20T571)

I have 2 Modular and a Modular Duo faces with CALENDAR date complication on the upper right corner. I rely on the date of the week and date of the month to apply my medication including weekly and bi-weekly injection. I noticed that I did it wrongly by following the DoW and DoM on the Apple Watch because one or more of the Modular Modular Duo faces gave me the 'yesterday' date, that made me think I missed one / more injection or getting tablets of a different DoW. Isn't that terrible? Some times the date didn't correct and update for many hours, sometime it took minutes to update. But if the date is wrong, it's always not serving the purpose of a watch, isn't it?

14 Minutes later...

Stop Watch app, Timer app, SIT app, and etc., they all pause counting after a while, until after I raise my wrist so that the watch faces to the sky and wait for seconds, then it give the updated time and un-pause counting.

I talked to Apple stores genius bar staffers a few months ago and they couldn't fix it.

What's wrong? How to fix it?

It sounds like you might have found a bug in the complication. Please report the details using Apple's Feedback pages,

Feedback - Watch - Apple

Meanwhile, the workaround is probably to use different complications, or even a different watch face until the next software update comes through then check again.

For essential medical care functions I recommend using multiple redundant alerting methods so you could consider setting a repeating Reminder on your iPhone. This can also mirror the alerts onto your Apple Watch when they become due.

Finally, you will be pleased to know Apple is planning to add medication alerts to the Health app, in the next version of software expected later this year. I expect this to be a feature for both iPhone and Apple Watch. It gets a short mention in

iOS 17 Preview - Apple and follow the Health link to the new functions.
