Unable to connect WiFi on MacBook with "There was an error in Network Preference" error.

I am facing problem in my MacBook Pro (2015 Intel based) with Network Preference. When I am going to connect WiFi, it shows "There was an error in Network Preference". I have tried to reinstall MacOs Operating system. But there, the WiFi options is not showing in the menu bar. I am not able to reinstall MacOs.

Hi,

Fix with Safe Mode

  1. Restart your Macbook by holding down the Power button. When your Mac's switched off, hold down the Shift key. ...
  2. Continue to hold down the Shift key until the Apple logo appears, then release the key.
  3. Once your device is in a safe state, restart it once more to solve this preference error on Mac.

Hi,

Try to check your MacBook Pro with Apple Diagnostics if it reports network related hardware error.

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support

If it doesn't help or error is reported, contact Apple Support or take your MacBook Pro to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro there.

Did you really download a copy of MacOS from "a third party site"? MacOS from somewhere other than DIRECTLY from Apple come complete with Malware, already pre-installed.

By far the easiest way to cause poor performance, instability, overheating and crashing is to install ANY third-party speeder-uppers, Cleaners, Optimizers, or Virus scanners, Bit Torrent, or a VPN that you installed yourself.

are you running anything like that?
