Connect MacBook Pro M1 to Epson Perfection V600

I'm trying to connect to a brand new Epson V600. Macbook Pro 2021 with M1 Pro and Ventura 13.2.1.

Have installed Epson Software updater (v2.6.2) and driver EPSON Scan 2 (v6.6.43.0).

Have also installed Silver Fast 9 Plus.

As soon as I try to start I get an Error and a red light. What to do?

I can't connect my Epson RR-600W RAPID scanner to my Mac I am trying to connect my Epson RR-600 RAPID Scanner to my Mac and I have spoken with Epson and my Internet Provider and we keep going over the same steps and it is still happening is it something Apple can help me with? MacBook Air compatible with a Epson V600 Scanner I have a MacBook air M2 chip OS Sonoma 14.0. I purchased a Epson V600 scanner and tried everything I could think of to get it to work.I got a link on the Silver Fast to install Silver Fast 9 beta and the Epson Drivers but the scanner would not show up as a device to add in the Printers and Scanner setup. I could see the device listed in the USB attached devices when I used a USB C to USB A adapter but it would not show up when when I used a Satechi Pro Hub Max nothing show up as a USB device. I also have a Mac mini with OS Catalina late (2012) the software would not install but I could get the scanner to do a preview scan but not a full scan. I gave up on this and I have the scanner back in the box and a return RA back to Amazon. Would be interested if someone comes up with a answer to get this to work. Thanks and good luck....

There was an Epson Software Updater v2.6.3 released in Oct 2023. Download and apply that. Then check if the scanner works.

Good try. It was not listed in printers and scanners so I added it. Still doesnt work, get an Error.

SilverFast 9 SE Plus finds it immediately, I choose Start and get initial information on available drivers with two choices: // Set Intel as standard // and // Start as Intel once //. Seems strange as my computer has M1... I try with Start as Intel once – get an Error immediately...

I have the exact same problem, but never seen the Start as Intel prompt. I am beyond frustrated as no matter what I do, it doesn't work. Did you ever find a solution?

I have the same problem with my 2015 iMac. Epson dont seem to be able to answer. They have now got to the stage of saying maybe it needs a different cable. I am lost. Any news?

VueScan only supports the Epson Perfection V600 on macOS when functional Epson drivers are installed (and working).
